After how rude most of the fans were when they came down last time, its nice to see them humbled a bit. I'm sure there are plenty of really good fans but the last 2 home games int he playoffs I went to with the nucks fans left a lot to be desired. When in the other guys house remember not to be a d-bag.

What was up with Sedin smacking Couture in the nugget....I can't remember seeing either of the twins getting fiesty like that.

Whory Cory letting them in any way the came!!

Should have kept LU in he was playing so awesome for his team. If only they stepped it up for him. He deserves a team and head coach and fan(not all fans) who have faith in him.. Great game sharks

The whole goalie thing will be overblown by everyone, but it doesn't matter than you can't score more than 2 (frank)ing goals.

Wrong. Schneider was thrown into action (by a desperate coach) after being inactive for weeks with an injury/illness (and he's probably still injured/ill). Nobody should be surprised he got lit up tonight.

Hey, he isn't the first and won't be the last player to come back from injury. Stop making excuses for him. His last game was April 22nd. He was out about 2 weeks, hardly a long stretch where players magically go cold and rusty. Im not surprised he got lit up, but it's not because of the injury card you're playing.

Good job Sharks, Canada is happy thanks to you.

You mean like perhaps trading one of the goalies for scoring help? Cause really this goalie thing should never have gotten this far. The "I told you so's" will be endless, its going to be a long summer for you guys.

2 Choices

Trade Schneider for some young, quality forward help
Buy out Luongo, or trade him for not much more than a bag of pucks.

I dont think there is any chance a team even trades a bag, let alone a bag of pucks for Luongo. I feel a team might have done it last summer or in Jan, but not now. Not a chance.

This is so sweet! Looks good seeing the most arrogant fans in hockey humbled and embarrassed

The Canucks are closer to being Calgary than a contender

Team's are always going to be looking to upgrade their goaltending. I don't think he's that immovable, Gillis needs to take back salary and maybe send another quality prospect or roster player the other way to sweeten the deal to obtain some real assets. Basically there needs to be a hockey trade.

At his age, I think he is going to be immovable. Especially with the salary cap dropping. Toronto was supposed to be one of very few teams who were an option. Safe to say that ship has sailed. Part of the problem is that the Canucks don't really have any cap space to spare where they can afford to take any salary back. Already 100k over the cap with only 17 players signed...

You know noone will take Lou's contract on when Gillies makes a call to nonis a hr beofre the deadline to see if the leafs are still intrested in Lou even tho Reim is playing awesome for us..Nonis had him down to a 2nd tier prospect and lame pick and after Gillies agree'ed to it Nonis came back mins before the deadline with, well you need to keep some of his salary as well.
